Slower growing and longer follicular cycles generally mean better quality eggs. Estrogren, from my understanding, makes the uterine lining too thick in those with endometriosis because our bodies are really sensitive to it. So one would think, knowing the above, that prescribing progesterone to a woman with endometriosis who is trying to get pregnant for use after ovulation would be a good thing to help prevent the lining from getting any thicker because if it continues to grow it would pull away from the walls making embryo implantion harder to achieve.
