Laying Low

I'm going to keep taking it easy for the next four weeks or less if the RE determines in two week that I can do more.  I'm having some pain in the pelvis and it rather odd too.  It feels as though something is free floating in there.  It feels like it moves when I walk.  It feels like it trying to push outward when I sit down.  Have any of you felt this after the surgery?

The pain is radiating down my right thigh from the right side of my pelvis.  Its odd and painful.  I feel like I'm bruised inside too.

So if any of you who have pelvic surgery have felt anything like this please let me know.  Thanks.

  2. I felt like that for a week when I had a d and c with fallopian tube observation. I hope that helps.

    1. I'm sure there was a lot of mental agony that you went through too.

  3. I've only had a tubal ligation and honestly - it hurt like hell for about a week afterward. I was bruised, and felt "off" (that's the best way I can put it). If it's any consolation - I am feeling pain with you. Had a breast biopsy yesterday and today it's feelin' pretty sore. :( I hope you're feeling back to yourself soon, darlin'. xoxox

    1. I hope that the breast biopsy turns out okay and you don't have to go back for more later on.

    1. The bruising is even worse today. But doesn't it always get worse before it gets better?

  5. I had fibroid surgery and I did not have any pain like you described. The incisions were painful for the first few days and some muscle soreness. But that was it.

    1. I hot packed my pelvis yesterday. It relieved some of the pain. I still have two spots that don't have cut marks on them that hurt like hell.

  6. Could it be the gas? They fill the abdomen up with gas during laps, and it can take awhile to dissapate. I was on Percocet after my lap/hysterscopy, so I slept a lot that week, but I never really noticed mine. Some women do though.

    1. I had the pain from the gas being pumped into me the first day. The pain was even in my shoulders. I had told my husband that its normal because I knew about them pumping it in. I'm on percocet too. Making it difficult to concentrate on reading anything more than graphic novels.
