Baby Afghan Finished

Some of the photos are blurry because I tried to take them from above which meant being on my knees on an uneven surface.
Finished blocks before joining.
Sewn together using a crochet hook and not a needle.
Finished with the ruffled border.

Design edge closeup.

I've never finished a baby blanket this fast.  I guess all the long hours that J worked this week really helped since I was able to work undisturbed in the afternoons.

I started this on the 11th mind you and today is the 15th.

    1. Now I need to find another project to do this week that is just as time consuming since this thing he is doing is two weeks long.

    1. I hope that the co-worker's wife likes the blanket. Not sure what her style is and sometimes that can make gift giving difficult.

  3. It is beautiful! It is a lucky baby that gets to snuggle in that :) It is going to become a special lovey for sure. You can't have too many baby blankets, I've found, especially here in New England with the our unpredictable weather. (It was 27 degrees with an arctic blast when I dropped my daughter off yesterday, and over 40 when I piked her up 3 hrs later)

    2. Right? :) I started my sons blanket while in the 2ww. I figured, if it worked, I'd keep it, if not, I would give it away.

    3. I'm sure my kid/s will have so many baby blankets they could make a king-size blanket with them later on. My mom loves to craft as much as I do and the same with her two sisters.
