Suppression Scan

Well I failed.

My lining, even though I've been spotting for a whole bcp pack and lightly bleeding since Friday, was 11mm.

I have 6 residual follicles from ovulating on the pill about two weeks ago.  Yeah, I remember quite well how much fricken pain I was in two week ago.  I hurt so bad I couldn't eat and lost 4 pounds.  Yes, I ovulated while on the pill.

Biggest follicle was measuring in at 11mm.  Must be I like the number 11 today.

Had my blood work at 0700 hrs.  Waiting on the results now.  Then waiting on the result to get sent to PNW.

Meanwhile I picked up more needles for the Lupron as I didn't have enough for this cycle on hand.  If I have to go yet another week on the Lupron I'll need an additional vial, especially if I'm kept at 10 units.

Just got the lab results.  E2 was 20 which means I am suppressed.  However, I just called Nicole at PNW and being that my lining is so thick she'll have to consult with the doctor to see if they want to keep my Lupron at the higher dose for another week.  Dr. B, who is just back from Afghanistan, said just as much to me today during my visit.

So I sit here and wait.

On the weight thingy.  I lost the pound I gained over the weekend plus 0.4 more overnight.  So just as I figured it was bloat.

  1. Ah man! That is has to be so frustrating. I'm glad your E2 is low, but that sucks about the lining and other issues :( Hopefully things can get sorted out and keep moving forward though!

    1. I'll know more this afternoon. I'm wondering that since my lining is so thick right now if the Alora patch will be ditched since I have no problem producing enough estrogen on my own to make a lining nice a thick. Damn Endometriosis!

    1. The worst news is cancellation of the cycle. Doubt that will happen. Might have a delay of a week due to the uterine lining being so thick. We'll see.

  5. I hope you hear more news soon!! Why can't our bodies just cooperate when they're supposed to!!!!!
Sending lots of love to you, your follies, and lining! :)

  6. Hmmm...Your body must just want to crank it to 11! I hope that everything settles down for your FET. From what I remember, it is pretty hard to mess up on a FET. The Lupe is pretty much there to make sure you don't develop cysts (knock on wood!). A bad lining, cysts, or embryos that don't thaw are pretty much the dangers. I've still got everything crossed :)

    1. I'm actually chemically suppressed with my E2 levels being only 20. The follicles are just residual from ovulating while on the pill. The lining is starting to shed like it should now.

    2. My docs have never been worried about a thick lining at the beginning of the cycle, it's making sure the stripe is 'lush' enough before transfer that is the tricky spot. I don't think you'll have a problem on that score :)

    1. With any luck it will only be two extra days of Lupron. My lining seems to be shedding nicely now.
