Busy Day

Well the weight is still there.  Guessing that 1.2 pounds is going to stay around.  I've been drinking more water, eating less sodium foods, eating plenty of fiber.  Must be the extra hormone that was introduced late last week.  Estrogen binds with fat which produces more estrogen which creates more fat in the body...vicious circle.  Hakuna Matata.

My clothes are fitting me much better.  My stomach muscles are shaping up.  I have definition now.  Must be all the sit-ups I've been doing.  I have the beginnings of a four-pack and my husband hates how easily my stomach muscles tone up when he has work hard at a six pack.  Oh well!  Maybe it is the flexing exercises I do while sitting down that help?

Moodiness is evening out.  Chickenpig was right that the estrogen would take over soon enough.  I found myself weepy yesterday instead of angry.

Today I'm going to bake cookies for the soldiers at the COF.  Last week I didn't bake any because the floor in my utility room, the room off my kitchen, was being ripped up and new tile was being put down.  The smell was awful.

I need to get my butt moving.  I've got a lot of things that I still need to get done today around the house and with my at home job.  Yikes it is already 1130 hrs!

    1. They had a change of command ceremony today. I didn't know they were having one. J gave first dibs on the cookies to the new commander...he enjoyed them too. Now he knows about cookie day. LOL

    1. Getting better by the day with the moods. Still a bit cranky at times. The weight gain just sucks for me today. I feel so bloated.

    1. Went well. Made one oreo sized cookie for me to try in the first dozen since eating raw batter is a no-no. Tasted good to me.

  4. You're so busy!

I'm jealous of that four-pack. Even when I'm in shape, I still never manage to get any definition in my stomach.

    1. For me it is the fat apron below the belly button that is my problem issue. I had a growth spurt when I was just 8 and developed stretch marks. Now the skin is flabby and looks horrible more than 30 years later.

  5. How you feel is more important than the scale :) It isn't going to be long until transfer day. I'm so excited for you!!!

What was smelling bad? Rot under the tiles? It sounds like you have a LOT going on over there :)

    1. Maybe, I can only hope. I've noticed that my arms are a bit stronger too. It amazes me what simple floor exercises can do to strengthen my body.

  7. Good for you! It takes a lot for me to see stomach muscles - I'm an apple so that's the last stand for my fat. Muscle weighs more than fat so I'm going with that last 1.2 is extra muscle that you don't want to lose :)

    1. I'm an hourglass. Even when I'm as big as now I still have that small waist. Off the rack clothing never seems to fit right. Tops look like a tent hiding my waist with my large chest.
