I Can't Figure Out My Mood

Short post.  It hurts my back and pelvis to sit here and type.  I feel like crying from the pain and I'm nauseated.

Funny how I woke up and the pain wasn't all that bad but now it is.  I find it depressing.  I find that I'm cranky.  I find that I'm just all over the place with my moods.

I didn't take a single pain killer last night but I might just today.

**Update 1050 hrs**
Just talked with Nurse S at the RE's office.  She says for me not to take any more vicodin because the itching means I'm allergic to it.  She noted in the computer my start date and said for me to call back when my next cycle starts.  She is going to talk to the doctors about what I can now do for pain control.  She did suggest NSAIDs but I can't take those with my gatric ulcer.  Hopefully they can think of something a bit stronger than the acetaminophen and heating pad routine.  I'll update again when Nurse S gets back to me  or at the latest I'll update tomorrow.

  1. Take a pain pill, you deserve a reprieve from the pain dear friend. And then rest. Allow yourself some time to brood or sleep or worry or even cry. It's ok to feel this way, and you are definitely not alone. Big hugs.

    1. You know how this feels. I can sit for a bit if I stand most of the time. The pain, its like my ovaries are trying to be pulled out my back and leaning forward just makes it hurt all that much more. So yes, I'm going to go take pain killers soon and then I'm going to cozy up with the hot rice bag. Thanks for the hugs. Might even call my doctor to tell them just how bad the pain is.

    1. I called my RE's office last hour and am waiting to hear from them after speaking with their nurse on duty. Rice bag is in the microwave warming up as I type this.

    1. I think that if the pain continues another week that I'm going to ask for an appointment to get an ultrasound. Something just isn't right.

  5. Pain will totally warp your mood -- remember it's the pain. It will wax and wane, but you can maintain your Self inside it. The pain you pass and You will remain.
